    As someone who only occasionally writes a song for my small band, I was amazed at how little I knew about what it takes to make a great sounding song. I learned so many things that have helped me become a more confident lyricist, and I feel like I could make informed decisions about getting my songs published and recorded. The language is also easy to understand. I have been lost in the jargon of other books covering the same subjects before. I can't recommend this book enough as the ultimate starter to your songwriters library!
